Harris County Emergency Services District 1 (HCESD1) is currently accepting applications for a full-time mechanic position.

Responsibilities:

  • Repairs on all HCESD1 vehicles including ambulances as well as support vehicles
  • Preventative Maintenance on all HCESD1 ambulances and support vehicles
  • Repair of generators, lawn equipment, and various mechanical equipment and tools

Requirements:

  • ASE Certification
  • Experience with both gasoline and diesel engines
  • Working knowledge of small engines, generators, and lawn equipment
  • Clear driving record
  • Clear criminal background
